PSG paid 20m for Beraldo, who had a bigger contract offer from Liverpool, says Le Parisien.
However, he insisted on joining PSG due to their history with signing and developing young Brazilians from Rai to Marquinhos.
Beraldo, 20, is already firmly established in Luis Enrique's starting XI.
