Joao Felix rejected the chance to inherit Ansu Fati's number at Barcelona.
As he arrived on-loan from Atletico Madrid, Fati was leaving in a similar arrangement for Brighton.
It meant the No10 shirt was vacant, but while Barca offered him the coveted number, Felix declined.
Sport says Flix did not want to burden himself with the additional pressure of taking the No10 shirt.
Felix also reasoned that would be inappropriate for him to take the number given he is only a loan player.
