Manchester City ace Joao Cancelo did have multiple clubs interested in him over the January window.
The Portugal right-back eventually signed for Bayern Munich on a loan deal with a view to a permanent one.
However, he failed to impress at the Allianz Arena and will head back to City for the moment.
Per the Manchester Evening News, Barcelona were also interested in Cancelo over the winter.
However, they would not cover the player's wages, which meant that deal made no sense for City to pursue.
Given Cancelo fell out with boss Pep Guardiola, he is unlikely to stay at City this summer.
