RHB Bank has announced some updates to the Plaza Premium Lounge (PPL) privileges of its credit cards and the airmiles conversion rate to make redemptions from selected frequent flyer programmes. Specifically, cardholders who wish to fully tap into the complimentary PPL access offered by their cards will soon need to meet specific tiered spending requirements, and they’ll also need to use more credit card points to redeem Enrich Points and KrisFlyer Miles.
According to the announcement, RHB’s revision with regard to PPL privileges will impact a total of five cards, namely:
- RHB Premier Visa Infinite credit card/-i
- RHB Visa Infinite credit card
- RHB Visa Signature credit card
- RHB World Mastercard credit card/-i
- RHB Business Platinum credit card
With this amendment, the PPL privileges of these cards will soon be provided in tiers, and must be earned by meeting some spending requirements listed by the bank. Here’s a table to compare the current PPL privileges that RHB cardholders are enjoying, and the updated version of it:
Besides this lounge benefits revision, RHB is also revising the amount of Loyalty Points that are required to redeem Enrich Points and KrisFlyer Miles. It is also increasing the minimum amount of miles redemption from 500 to 1,000. Here are the full details of this revision:
Both of the above revisions are set to take effect starting from 21 September 2023, so for those who still have some Loyalty Points and would like to redeem more Enrich Points or KrisFlyer Miles at the current rates, remember to do so soon!
