
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah FC thrashed Keningau FC 10-2 in a one-sided match held at the Keningau Sports Complex on Tuesday.
It was the first match of their State tour and head coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee opted to field his second stringers at the start.
Despite controlling the game right from the first whistle, it was the home side who scored first through former Rhino Jufrey Omopor who beat third choice goalkeeper Ramzi Mustakim in the 7th minute.
However, their joy only lasted 10 minutes as Azhad Harraz equalised for Sabah FC from the spot in the 17th minute before another youngster Harith Naem scored the second in the 21st minute.

Sabah FC took a 4-2 lead at half time after Telmo Castanheira restored their two-goal advantage in the 43rd minute.
The second half was all Sabah FC with Jafri Firdaus Chew scoring the fifth in the 54th minute followed by Ramon Machado in the 67th minute.
Darren Lok netted the seventh in the 77th minute and two minutes later, Ramon scored his second followed by Darren’s second in the 83rd minute before Saddil Ramdani struck the 10th goal in injury time.
