THE stage is set — Sabah FC will be hosting Kuching City FC in the return leg of the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup at the Likas Stadium tonight (Monday).
Sabah FC have a 1-0 cushion following the first leg win at the State Stadium in Kuching last week, and all we need to do now is to complete the job in front of the home fans and advance to the semi-final.

It is still not a forgone conclusion even though we had beaten Kuching City FC in the last three meetings this season, two in the league and one in the Malaysia Cup.

I trust that head coach Martin Stano has a trick up his sleeve and now it is up to the players to deliver the goods for him.
We are so near to the semi-final line and have a slight advantage over our neighbours as we are playing at home in front of our fans.
I am sure there will be a big turn up to cheer the team on. The fans’ presence is important to lift the spirit of the players to get a fitting result.
Let’s go out there and get the victory for the fans and Sabah. I am confident that our boys can do it.
Cheers and good luck!
