KUDAT: A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash along Kilometre 11 of the Kudat–Kota Kinabalu road on Monday evening.
Kudat police chief Supt Mohd Haris Ibrahim said the 47-year-old rider and his wife, who was riding pillion, were travelling from Kota Kinabalu towards Kudat at the time.
Preliminary findings suggest the rider lost control while trying to avoid a dog that ran across the road, causing the motorcycle to veer into the opposite lane and collide with an oncoming four-wheel-drive vehicle.
