Rino Gattuso has been named new coach of Olympique Marseille.
The Italian succeeds Marcelino, who left OM last week after heavy protests from ultras.
"I'm looking forward to getting to work with my new team and taking on the upcoming challenges that await us," he said.
"It's a club and a stadium celebrated throughout Europe for the passion and fervour it exudes."
Former Napoli coach Gattuso's last job was with Valencia last season before he was replaced late into the campaign by Ruben Baraja.
