Rio Brasil Terminal (RBT), ICTSI’s operation at the Port of Rio de Janeiro, added Norcoast’s regular cabotage service to its schedule on July 21 with the arrival of the vessel NC BREDA.
The new service moves domestic cabotage and feeder cargo between Rio de Janeiro, the Manaus Free Trade Zone, and seven major Brazilian ports: Manaus, Pecém, Suape, Salvador, Santos, Paranaguá, and Itajaí.
RBT connects these sea routes to inland freight markets in Minas Gerais and São Paulo through rail ramps at Floriano, Suzano, and São José dos Campos.
The route supports growing demand from the consumer goods, steel, and beverage industries.

RBT operates Container Terminal 1 at the Port of Rio de Janeiro, providing maritime, road, and rail infrastructure for container vessels calling at the Brazilian coast.
