French pundit Daniel Riolo has accused Kylian Mbappe of waging war on PSG.
The striker has informed PSG, by written communication, that he will not be triggering the 12 month option in his contract. With Real Madrid watching, it means Mbappe could walk out on PSG in 2024.
Riolo barked on RMC: "If I am the leader of PSG, he made a clear decision: he will sell himself this summer. A player who announces that he is in his last year of contract cannot stay and can leave for free.
"You have to send a strong message. PSG did not expect to receive this letter today. It's a kind of declaration of war. They are horrified in the club. If Mbapp announces it now, it is because he no longer believes in the promises.
"He no longer believes in the project."
