Rival clubs are making contact with senior Liverpool players.

The Reds squad has been unsettled by manager Jurgen Klopp's announcement that he will leave at the end of the season.

Mohamed Salah has long been linked with a move away and captain Virgil van Dijk is also now inside the final 18 months of his current deal.

The Independent says intermediaries are making contact with Liverpool players to test the ground on whether they can be tempted away.

Even Klopp is already being contacted by club reps eager to set up talks about next season.
