PENAMPANG: All activities in Sungai Timpangoh, Kampung Pogunon, here, have been suspended effective Monday until measures to ensure the safety of residents and users of the river are in place.
This means no picnic, camping or swimming on the stretch of river as the weather nowadays is unpredictable. This follows the drowning deaths of two SM St Michael’s students last week, in which four others also nearly suffered similar fate.
The bodies of Tomansi Olaf and Harold Walter were found after several days of search.
