Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been blasted as "rude" and "not humble" for winding up Barcelona.

The winger, 18, came off the bench at Old Trafford last week to help United KO Barca in an epic Europa league tie.

Afterwards he shared a photo of his celebrations and added: "The big team passes the round."

But ex-Argentina striker Carlos Morete, 71, was upset with his countryman's behaviour.

The former River Plate hero told D Sports Radio: "Garnacho is rude, not very humble.

"When they eliminated Barcelona, he said that the big team won. He was playing against Bara, not against Getaf.

"I hope the kid gets off the horse, shuts up, doesn't talk nonsense and learns."

Barcelona boss Xavi had responded to Garnacho's jibe: "I think you have to celebrate with your teammates and not celebrate as a provocation for the other."
