Claudio Echeverri has announced he won't renew his contract with River Plate.
The 17 year-old midfielder is a target for Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea ahead of the January market.
After victory over Rosario Central, Echeverri declared: "I'm not going to renew, but I'm going to stay six months or a year more."
Asked about the teen's comments, River sports chief Martin Demichelis insisted: "He's young and when they put a microphone on him after his first starting game, after having won a title...
"Everyone dreams of playing in Europe, but this institution is huge."
