
KOTA BELUD: Fourteen village committees (JKKKs) and associations in Kadamaian have received a total of RM1.32 million under the Federal Government’s SejaTi MADANI initiative to boost rural economic projects.
Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick said each recipient received between RM49,000 and RM100,000 for ventures such as livestock farming, fish breeding, chilli fertigation, handicrafts, tailoring, food processing, and traditional massage services.
He said the program aims to stimulate community-based economic activities, adding that he personally visited several villages to observe the ongoing projects.
Ewon, who is also Kadamaian assemblyman, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting rural economic development, infrastructure, and land surveying to drive growth in the constituency.
