RM1.612bil allocation must deliver results, says Rusdin

Kota Kinabalu: Paginatan Assemblyman Datuk Rusdin Riman (pic) urged the Government to ensure Sabah's record RM1.612 billion Supplementary Supply Bill translates into immediate development on the ground without delays caused by bureaucracy.

He said the additional allocation should be channelled towards accelerating infrastructure projects, poverty eradication and the delivery of essential services, particularly in rural areas, stressing that every ringgit approved must benefit the people.

Rusdin also called for urgent upgrades to roads and bridges in Paginatan, fair compensation for land acquired under the Pan Borneo Highway project, faster issuance of Native Customary Rights (NCR) land titles, and improved water, electricity and telecommunications services in underserved rural communities.
