RM100,000 PM aid to Keningau fire victims

KENINGAU: Two families affected by fire incidents here each received a donation of RM50,000 from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The donation was presented by the Senior Political Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin at the Sabah SIB Pasimpongan Hall, Thursday.

The recipients are Urin Andugut of Kampung Melampoi, Nabawan, and Ansuku Gimba’an of Kg Malilita, Mukim Pementerian, Nabawan.

The two families lost their homes in a recent fire and are now staying at the homes of close relatives.

Shamsul, who represented Anwar, also officiated the Paguguyuan XIII Outreach Programme in the Upper Sabah 2023 Kebajikan Murut Malaysia (PKKMM) as well as the launch gimmick of the Sabah Murut Women’s Association (PWMS).

Also present were PKKMM President Raymond Ahuar, KPM Deputy Secretary General Wan Hashim Wan Rahim, Director of the Development Division, Prime Minister’s Office Khairy Maamor and Sabah Education Director Datuk Raisin Saidin.
