
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government has allocated RM10 million this year to assist some 5,000 students in pursuing tertiary education under the Higher Learning Institute (IPT) Registration Cash Assistance (Budi) initiative, said Special Tasks Minister Datuk Arifin Mohd Arif.
He said a total of 808 students pursuing tertiary education all over Malaysia qualified for the aid.
“For Papar, 42 students qualified for the aid involving a total allocation of RM73,500,” he said during the question and answer session at the State Assembly sitting, Tuesday.
