Kota Kinabalu: Sabah secured a total of RM11.9 billion in foreign investments and RM942 million in domestic ones from September 2020 to September 2022, creating about 5,000 jobs for locals.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said this reflected investors’ confidence in Sabah and that it is good to do business in the state.
“Rest assured that the State Government is committed to finding ways to improve policy implementation and ensuring that the government delivery system is strengthened and improved,” he said at the Borneo Architecture Festival 2022 at the Sabah International Convention Centre here on Friday.
“I urge players in the private sector, such as the Malaysia Architect Association or PAM and other similar organisations to be our partners in progress and work with the State Government,” he said.
