SEMPORNA: The Marine Police Force (MPF) here seized cosmetics worth about RM126,210 believed smuggled into the state via Laut Sisipan waters on Saturday.
Sabah Region Four Commander, ACP Nazri Ibrahim, said the team apprehended the boat at about 5.30pm.

“During inspection, no valid documents such as the ownership, registered authorization, purchase receipt or use of goods.

Read more “The cosmetic items were believed to have no approval from the Malaysian Ministry of Health,” he said, adding that the case was classified under Control of Drugs and Cosmetic Regulations 1984.
In the meantime, Nazri said that, it is an offence to be without a valid permit for commercial purposes.
