Unfortunately, the victims were unable to identify the assailants, as the men were dressed in black hooded sweatshirts and masks. Alor Gajah District Police Chief Superintendent Ahmad Abu Bakar stated that one of the victims is a person with a disability (OKU).

The ordeal began in the kitchen, where one victim was packing milk when the robbers entered through an unlocked back door. Ahmad added that the suspects eventually fled after noticing a man arriving on a motorcycle, believed to have been there to collect the milk.

During the robbery, all five victims were tied up, and two sustained injuries after being beaten by the perpetrators.

Police hunt for suspects after fingerprints found

The victims include a married couple and their child, a 73-year-old senior citizen, and an OKU sibling. The assailants fled with RM2,000 in cash, two mobile phones, two identification cards (ICs), and several pieces of jewellery.

Superintendent Ahmad noted that while the house was not equipped with CCTV, police detected seven fingerprints at the scene. As reported by Sinar Harian, the K9 Detection Dog Unit also recovered two mobile phones belonging to the victims along the suspects’ escape route.
