
HUMAN capital and information and communications technology (ICT) development are the main agendas of the State Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry (KSTI), said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
Hence, he said, the Ministry and its departments are allocated RM175.61 million next year.
“Of that amount, RM79.46 million is allocated to the Ministry for operation and acculturation of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), including the development of STI Centre; organisation of Sabah Science Carnival; Sabah Astronomy Tour; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (Stem) Fiesta; Roboneo; and PitchBorneo, as initiatives to increase studentsÆ involvement in STI and Stem fields.
