BEAUFORT: Klias Assemblyman Datuk Isnin Aliasnih donated a total of RM18,000 to the church and Christian communities in the area during a Christmas ceremony held here.
Out of the total amount, RM6,000 was allocated to 16 churches, with six larger churches receiving RM500 each and smaller churches receiving RM300 each.
AdvertisementThe remaining RM11,400 was distributed to the less fortunate, providing RM100 each to elderly individuals, orphans, single mothers, and others in need who celebrate Christmas.
Isnin said the donation is part of his annual tradition to support and celebrate the church and Christian communities within the Klias State Legislative Assembly area during the Christmas season.
