SANDAKAN: Tamu Gum-Gum located at Mile 16 here is slated for a fresh new look.
The RM2.5 million project to upgrade the market was approved by former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob last year and will be implemented by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Libaran MP Datuk Suhaimi Nasir said construction would start this year and the allocation would be channelled through the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU).
