A Johor Bahru restaurant has sparked controversy after a diner complained that it charged RM2 for a single cup of iced water with no refill option.

The customer, who posted the complaint in the Facebook group “吃的平台,” shared a receipt to support his claim.

The receipt showed a charge of RM2 for a cup of cold filtered water.

According to the diner, the restaurant had recently updated its menu, leading to this new pricing.

The post quickly gained traction, with numerous netizens expressing outrage.
