Kota Kinabalu: The Federal Rural Development Ministry (KPLB) has allocated RM20 million in the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) to intensify e-commerce and digitalisation programmes for rural entrepreneurs under its guidance.
Its Secretary-General Datuk Ramlan Harun said through the allocation, KPLB would ensure that the 12MP targets set earlier can be achieved through continuous efforts and collectively involving KPLB agencies.
“KPLB through the initiative that has been introduced, [email protected], is believed able to help rural entrepreneurs market their products online through e-commerce platforms and digital applications,” he said at the opening of the Entrepreneur Digitisation Programme (PPU) Series 3 Year 2022 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).
