
Kota Kinabalu: Three major associations involved in the country’s tourism industry expressed appreciations to the Unity Government of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim unveiling the revised national 2023 Budget last Friday.
The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta), Malaysia Budget and Business Hotels Association (MyBHA), and Malaysia Association of Hotels (MAH) described the RM250 million allocation for the tourism sector as a progressive one which is designed to promote the tourism sector.
Commenting on the issue, Matta expressed its appreciation to the government for what it sees as a progressive budget and for the RM250 million allocation.
