SANDAKAN: The project to provide piped water to Kampung Bambangan, near here, was approved in 2018 at a cost of RM2 million, but the allocation was withdrawn after Pakatan Harapan won the 14th General Election.
Explaining the matter to the villagers, Sekong Community Development Leader (PPM) Hazulizah Mohd Dani said upon assuming office following the 2020 State election, his office has been following up the matter.
“We have taken up this matter with the Ministry of Rural Development. Hopefully, it will be approved again soon,” she said.
