RANAU: A patient with respiratory problems from Kg Tompios, here, received an “Oxygen Concentrator” breathing aid donated by Ranau Member of Parliament, Datuk Jonathan Yasin.Sarina binti Lontom, 50, who suffered from asthma received the machine, which cost RM3,299. It was presented by Assistant Ranau Parliamentary Liaison Officer, Zita binti Fedilis, on behalf of Jonathan, and accompanied by Ranau Parliamentary Project Monitoring Officer, Dominik Kasuman.
When met, Sarina expressed her appreciation to the MP.
“I am grateful to our MP for the help. God alone knows how to repay all his sacrifices,” Sarina said.
She recently completed a heart surgery and was in need of such device to help her breathe normally.
“I always suffer from a lack of oxygen so the device helps me a lot to maintain a healthy life.”
