RM360m to ease road, sewerage woes

Kota Kinabalu: The State Public Works Department has been allocated RM360.19 million – a RM35million increase – to implement high-impact development projects concerning roads and highways.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor said the raise was for the repair of slopes and bridges out of empathy for those affected by natural disasters.

“The Sabah Sewerage Services Department is allocated RM90.94 million for the operation and maintenance of sewerage services to ensure the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) sustainability and cleanliness of urban, small towns and public housing surroundings is maintained.
