TAWAU: The RM45 million project for upgrading 151 General Operations Force (GOF) posts across the country is proceeding well and in conformity with regulations.
According to Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, one of these is the GOF post in Kalabakan, where the upgrade execution has reached 90 per cent.
He said the upgrade is almost perfect in comparison to when the post was just a regular tent.
According to him, the Prime Minister approved funding for the project in June, with specific instructions to immediately upgrade GOF posts across the country.
