Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government has disbursed RM47 million in financial assistance to non-Islamic schools and religious bodies in the West Coast this year.

Finance Minister cum Non-Islamic Schools and Religious Bodies Financial Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said RM20 million was allocated for vernacular and mission kindergartens up to secondary schools and the balance, to religious bodies.

“This includes areas in Tuaran, Kota Belud, Ranau, Penampang, Putatan, Papar and Lower Interior (Kimanis, Membakut, Beaufort, Kuala Penyu, Menumbok and Sipitang).
