PENAMPANG: About RM500,000 was allocated to Penampang in April to implement various development programmes for the people, said Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.
Of this amount, RM430,300 was allocated to support programmes organised by associations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), religious groups and the community.
Additionally, RM37,200 has been allocated for people’s welfare programmes and another RM22,000 set aside for disaster aid, said Ewon, who is also Penampang MP.
