PETALING JAYA: RNG Tech Bhd, the operator of vending massage chair services, announced that subsidiary Rest N Go (Thailand) Co Ltd has entered into an agreement with CP Axtra Public Co Ltd to provide massage chair services at selected Lotus’s stores in Thailand.
Under the agreement signed on Wednesday, Rest N Go (Thailand) will be the sole provider and operator of massage chair services at selected Lotus’s outlets in hypermarkets, supermarkets and community malls.
According to a filing in Bursa Malaysia, the parties will mutually agree on the locations.
The partnership will run for three years and six months, from Nov 1, 2026 to April 30, 2030.
The agreement will be implemented in two phases. The temporary phase will run for six months from Nov 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027, followed by the permanent phase from May 1, 2027 to April 30, 2030.
According to the filing, the initial rollout will involve between 1,400 and 1,600 massage chairs across an estimated 4,800 square metres of space at selected Lotus’s stores in Thailand.
Rest N Go (Thailand) and CP Axtra will also work towards signing a more comprehensive agreement within 90 days of the partnership agreement.
CP Axtra is a listed company and a major retail and wholesale operator in Thailand. The company was formed through the merger of Siam Makro and Lotus’s. It operates various retail and wholesale formats, including hypermarkets, supermarkets and wholesale stores.
CP Axtra also operates the Lotus’s retail chain, which has hypermarkets, supermarkets and community malls across Thailand, serving customers nationwide.
RNG Tech said the partnership is part of Rest N Go (Thailand)’s strategy to expand its vending massage chair network in Thailand, which the group sees as a key growth market following its earlier expansion into Lotus’s and Big C outlets.
The partnership is expected to increase Rest N Go’s presence in high-traffic retail locations and support the group’s wider expansion plans in Asean.
Rest N Go (Thailand) was awarded the Lotus’s tender in 2025 and currently operates 806 massage chairs across 132 Lotus’s locations in Thailand.
The partnership is also expected to strengthen Rest N Go (Thailand)’s relationship with CP Axtra and support the group’s strategy of securing exclusive locations with major retail groups in the region.
According to the filing, the agreement is not expected to affect RNG Tech’s share capital or the shareholdings of its major shareholders. However, the deal is expected to boost the group’s earnings throughout the agreement period.
Further, the filing also noted that the agreement does not require approval from RNG shareholders or any other relevant authorities. It also does not depend on any other corporate proposals by the company.
RNG Tech said none of its directors, major shareholders, or related parties has any direct or indirect interest in the agreement.
