The Delhi Police have arrested two men for allegedly assaulting a bike taxi rider following a road rage incident near the Sector 18/19 Metro station in Rohini, the police said on Saturday.
The suspects were apprehended following a viral video that showed them repeatedly hitting the rider.
Acting on the complainant’s statement, an FIR was registered at the Samaypur Badli police station on June 8.
During investigation, the police traced the motorcycle allegedly used in the attack and identified the accused as Gaurav Kumar and Badal.
According to officials, both men went into hiding after the video surfaced.
