In 1990, arch-rivals Liverpool won the "Football League First Division" title for the last time, and I started supporting Manchester United (Man United) in 1991. Remember it was the Man United of the Eric Cantona time. There were so many teams to choose from and I don't know why I prefer Man United. In 1992, the Football League First Division was renamed the "Premier League".
As everyone knows, the Premier League is the highest level of the men's English football league system. Liverpool was arguably the most successful English football club of the 70s and 80s. In the 90s and 00s, it was Man United's turn to lead. It can be said that without Sir Alex Ferguson, there would be no Man United today. Thank you Sir Alex! On the other hand, since the beginning of the 10s, Manchester City have prevailed.

Basically, Man United today can be divided into the Ferguson era and the post-Ferguson era. During his 26 years reign at Old Trafford, Ferguson won more than 30 trophies including 13 Premier League titles and 2 UEFA Champions League titles. The 1999 Champions League final was a classic among classics. Finally, Man United scored 2 goals in stoppage time to beat Bayern Munich 2-1. I remember that year I was in high school. The night before, after having dinner I took the 40 minutes drive home to watch the final. The next morning, after watching the football game, I went to school. It was the best football final in my life!

Heading to Manchester's Old Trafford Stadium (Theatre of Dreams) is believed to be a favourite for Man United fans. In terms of transportation, it only takes just over 2 hours to travel from London Euston to Manchester by train. It was a dream-come-true to visit the magical stadium. After arriving at the stadium gate, we went directly to the ticket counter to buy tickets to visit the museum, stadium and other attractions. The greatest football story ever told. Manchester is my heaven, take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints. The trip to Old Trafford ended with all of us buying Man United merchandise for friends and family at the megastore.

We weren't there to watch the game. At that time, the tour guide said that the craziest fans were there and they didn't welcome Liverpool fans either. What an eye-opener, the relationship between Man United fans and Liverpool fans has reached this point. No wonder Man United vs Liverpool was always going to be the No 1 Premier League rivalry! Either way, this half day tour of the museum and stadium is one of the best memories of our life. We really hope to have the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of watching the game in the future. We can't wait to come back soon! Miss you!

Rebuilding a football team is a process that takes time to see results. In the post-Ferguson era, after changing several coaches, the results are not necessarily very good until Eric Ten Hag appeared and accepted this challenging and impossible task. Once again, a fresh start for Man United. Erik Ten Hag's era officially began at the Rajamangala National Stadium Bangkok. On that debut (2022-23 Premier League pre-season friendly match, Bangkok Century Cup 2022), he led Man United to victory over Liverpool 4-0. We were fortunate enough to witness this wonderful moment in the field. As Man United fans, it was the first time to sing Glory Glory Man United (GGMU) song many times in the stadium. How happy and excited! Amazing atmosphere, truly an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime money can't buy experience.

Since then, we are very much looking forward to Man United's performance in the new 2022-23 Premier League season. There has been good news recently that Man United beat FC Barcelona in the Europa League Playoff (Aggregate 4-3) and won the EFL Cup (Man United 2-0 Newcastle United). Good start but the most important thing is that Man United are gradually on the right track. Overall, Man United have improved a lot under the new coach, but it's still too early to judge. Keep it up! Erik Ten Hag, new boss, new journey and new era, come on!

The first of many trophies at Wembley Stadium. “Glory Glory Man United, Glory Glory Man United, Glory Glory Man United, As The Reds Go Marching On On On!" Once a red devil, forever a red devil. I love Manchester United Football Club (MUFC), one of the greatest football clubs in the world.
