- Reform UK treasury spokesperson Robert Jenrick has claimed Nigel Farage has done more than almost anybody to tackle racism and the far right.
- Mr Jenrick made the remarks while defending the party following an undercover ITV Exposure documentary that revealed racist language used by Reform candidates and councillors.
- The footage showed Mr Farage instructing an aide that mayoral candidate Chris Parry should apologise for telling David Lammy to go home to the Caribbean, rather than expelling him.
- Undercover recordings also captured Reform MP Sarah Pochin describing the party as chauvinistic and claiming female members are routinely excluded.
- Mr Jenrick insisted Reform UK acts immediately to suspend or remove offending individuals and rejected allegations of widespread racism or sexism within the party.
