  • His family announced on Facebook that he passed away on Monday, 9th March 2026, after being diagnosed with brain cancer in September.
  • DeCarlo joined Boston in 2007 following the death of original lead singer Brad Delp and toured with the band for nearly two decades.
  • A GoFundMe page was launched in September to cover his medical bills after he suffered a sudden brain bleed, leading to the discovery of melanoma masses on his brain and a spot on his lungs.
