Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers has played down speculation regarding the future of James Maddison.
The attacking midfielder is being linked with a move to Newcastle United.
English media reports had indicated the Magpies had put in an offer for Maddison.
However, Leicester have reportedly turned down the bid, with the club viewing the no.10 as integral to their plans for this season.
Asked about a possible Maddison departure, Rodgers told BBC Radio Leicester: "He's still very much a player here. You see his performance, you see how happy he is and he's not a player we want to sell.
"It's not for me to put valuations on the players, it's not my side, but that might just cover three-quarters of his left leg, that price. He's a top player."
