The Rohtak district administration has made comprehensive security and logistical arrangements for the smooth conduct of the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination on June 21. Seventeen examination centres have been set up across the district.

The exam will be held in offline mode from 2 pm to 5.15 pm IST. DC Sachin Gupta said National Testing Agency (NTA) has increased the duration by 15 minutes this year. Candidates with disabilities will get an additional hour.

Gupta directed all departments to ensure candidates face no inconvenience and that the exam follows NTA guidelines strictly. He stressed the need to train centre superintendents thoroughly for strict compliance with all protocols.

“Question papers will be transported to centres under police escort without any unscheduled stops. The entire process will be videographed for transparency. Mobile jammers and CCTV cameras will be installed at all centres. Officials have been told to ensure proper packing of OMR sheets and other material as per NTA norms, with videography,” Gupta said.

He instructed Municipal Corporation officials to repair the damaged road near Model School and identify parking spaces near a school on Hisar Road for parents. He also directed departments to ensure uninterrupted law and order, electricity, water supply, transport, and healthcare services during the exam.

Highlighting security, Gupta said NTA will conduct biometric verification, deploy mobile jammers, and carry out strict frisking at all centres. He urged departments to coordinate closely for a peaceful and transparent exam.

SP Gaurav Rajpurohit said only authorised officials and candidates will be allowed inside centres. As per NTA rules, no one except the centre superintendent can carry mobile phones or digital devices inside.

“Two police personnel will be deployed on the rooftops of each centre for surveillance. Superintendents have been told to ensure timely rooftop access and provide drinking water for the personnel due to summer heat,” Rajpurohit added.
