Roma coach Jose Mourinho has blocked Nicolo Zaniolo's move to Tottenham.

The loan bid carrying a purchase obligation before personal terms were agreed between the north London club and player.
However, Mourinho wanted the cash upfront - something Spurs cannot achieve before player sales are completed.
Therefore, Roma are now pushing hard to extend Zaniolo's contract past its 2024 expiry date.
