Roma coach Jose Mourinho is facing investigation ahead of today's clash with Sassuolo.
Mourinho is being probed for comments made about the match officials.
ANSA says the federal prosecutor of FIGC has opened proceedings for harmful statements from Mourinho towards referee Matteo Marcenaro, designated for today's Sassuolo-Roma match.
Mourinho said he was worried about the choice of referee because for him "the feeling is that he doesn't have the emotional stability for a match of this level".
The veteran coach could now face suspension for his comments.
