Roma defender Chris Smalling has agreed terms over a new contract.

Smalling's agent has been in Rome this past week and terms have been settled.

James Featherstone was at Trigoria on Friday to meet with sports director Tiago Pinto.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Smalling is set to sign a new two-year contract to 2025 on a salary of 3.5m.

Everything has now been settled and the defender will put pen to paper in the coming days.
