During his playing career, Totti had several chances to join Real Madrid.
Totti saw Real defeat Celta Vigo on Saturday and said: I had always been a rival on the field. Real Madrid is a very important club."
Totti recalled a standing ovation he received from the Santiago Bernabeu in 2016.
