AS Roma are in talks to sign Valencia striker Goncalo Guedes.
Valencia are prepared to sell the striker this summer and are demanding €40m to part with the Portugal international.
Il Tempo says Roma aim to drive down the cash component by including former Barcelona winger Carlos Perez in their offer.
Roma are willing to offer €20m cash plus Perez in exchange for Guedes.
Guedes is represented by agent Jorge Mendes, who also takes care of Roma coach Jose Mourinho.
