PAPAR: Bruneian motorists can now refuel with RON97 petrol at the Petronas station in Kimanis, thanks to a six-month pilot project jointly initiated by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) and Petronas Dagangan Berhad (PDB).
KPDN Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said the initiative addresses complaints about the unavailability of RON97 along the southwest coast route from Brunei to Kota Kinabalu.
A Mini Portable Container System (PCS) with a 5,000-litre capacity has been installed at the Kimanis station.

"This effort ensures fuel availability won’t discourage visits from Brunei," Armizan said.
RON97 is sold at RM3.18 per litre for Brunei-registered vehicles.
