Rashford, who has since apologized to United boss Erik ten Hag, has been giving United issues for years.
Per The Sun, United officials knew of his lifestyle problems since 2021 and even earlier.
Reds legends Wayne Rooney, David Beckham and Rio Ferdinand have all spoken to him at various times.
Rashford has enjoyed periods of good form, but has also shown that he can go months without consistently productive performances.
