Rosie O’Donnell has hit back at President Donald Trump after she and several other celebrities were featured in a spoof AI video he posted on Truth Social accusing them of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
Trump himself appeared in the Wednesday clip dressed as a doctor to discuss TDS and introduced “testimonials” from deepfake versions of O’Donnell, John Leguizamo, Whoopi Goldberg, Edward Norton, Robert De Niro and Julia Roberts talking about their struggles with the ailment.
The Hollywood luminaries explained that their dislike of the president has left them dysfunctional, irrationally angry, socially unpopular and unable to sleep or eat, for which “Doctor Trump” prescribes abstaining from “fake news,” praying daily and drinking Diet Coke.
“You’re gonna see a remarkable difference in your life,” he promises.
Speaking to The Guardian, O’Donnell, 64, responded by saying: “He’s quite ill – and getting worse daily. The 25th Amendment exists for exactly this reason. Remove. Impeach. Convict.”

A former talk show host, comedian and actor, O’Donnell relocated to Ireland last year and applied to become a citizen following Trump’s return to the White House.
The hatred between the two is mutual – Trump has regularly attacked O’Donnell over the years and reacted to her move to Ireland by threatening to revoke her U.S. citizenship in retaliation.
Their feud now dates back almost 20 years and can be traced to an episode of ABC’s The View from December 2006.
Hosting the show, O’Donnell attacked Trump, then the owner of the Miss Universe Organization, for holding a press conference to announce that he would not strip then-Miss USA Tara Conner of her title after she was accused of taking drugs.
O’Donnell was incensed that Trump was posing as a moral authority by saying of Conner that he would not punish her because he had “always been a believer in second chances.”
The comic declared: “He annoys me on a multitude of levels. He’s the moral authority?”
O’Donnell went on to make a series of allegations about the New Yorker’s private life, accusing him of serial infidelity to his ex-wives before adding: “But he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America? Donald, sit and spin, my friend.”
Not done there, she also likened him to the “snake-oil salesman on Little House on the Prairie” and declared: “This is not a self-made man.”
Trump was furious, denying her claims and beginning a media war, in the course of which he told People: “Rosie will rue the words she said. I’ll most likely sue her for making those false statements – and it’ll be fun.
“Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.”
He never sued her but, nine years later, after taking his fame global by starring on NBC’s The Apprentice and running for the White House, Trump appeared in a Republican primary debate in which he was taken to task for sexism by moderator Megyn Kelly.
The journalist attempted to confront the candidate by saying: “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals...”
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” the future president interjected with a smirk.
Trump is well known for his wild social media output and regularly accuses outspoken liberals of suffering from hatred of him – just as an earlier generation were accused of harboring “Bush Derangement Syndrome” by conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer in the 2000s – most shockingly when he suggested last December that filmmaker Rob Reiner had been murdered as a result of it.
At an Oval Office event in May introducing new maternal health initiatives, the president went so far as to claim TDS as a real medical condition, accusing Democrats of having such severe cases they “can’t even see straight.”
“They’ve got serious Trump Derangement, which actually is a disease,” he said. “I'm hearing it is actually a disease. It’s an honor.”
