A Malaysian woman in Kota Bharu, Kelantan recently sent her car to the workshop to identify the source of the foul smell emanating from her car.

In a viral TikTok post by @baihakiautomotive, the mechanics were seen hard at work dismantling parts of the car just to find the source of the stench.

“It smelled really bad,” Baihaki remarked.

It was so much work that the team had to continue the dismantling job the next day, where after battling through the stench, they finally found what had been causing the foul smell in the car.

A horde of rodents had been finding shelter in the customer’s car for quite some time and one of them had even died there, hence the smell.

In a conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Baihaki Automotive said the rodents were spotted inside the rear side of the body frame, and thankfully, they had the necessary device for the tough jobs or it would’ve taken them longer to do the job.

“We were lucky to have a borescope camera which allowed us to take a deeper look inside the car.”

For context, a borescope camera is also known as an inspection camera in some industries. Baihaki also shared with us detailed information about where the squirrels “built” their families, although they had no idea how they got into the car in the first place.

When asked about the total damage, Baihaki told WORLD OF BUZZ that they only charged the customer RM300, despite the manpower used to dismantle and reinstall the car parts.

“It was definitely not worth the job done, but we prioritize customer’s satisfactions and we try to secure a long-term business relationship.”

We’re sure some of you have experienced a rotting smell in your car. Feel free to share with us what was all the stench about in your car.
