DATUK Seri Najib Abdul Razak has lodged a police report against former Attorney General, Tan Sri Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh over the royal addendum issue.
The former prime minister's lawyer, Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah, said he was instructed by Najib to lodge the report at the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters (IPD) today.
“Previously, Najib had requested permission to lodge a police report either in prison or with the assistance of the prison to lodge a report at the Kajang IPD.
"However, the application did not receive a positive response. Therefore, he instructed me to lodgethe report," he said.
Shafee informed that a report was made against Ahmad Terrirudin under Sections 204 and 209 of the Penal Code.
“The offences alleged in the report are related to the royal addendum. I will not comment further because this report is an investigation document,” he said.
Earlier, on May 29, Shafee informed that Najib had still not received any response despite seven letters sent seeking confirmation of the existence of the adendum.
In a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex, Shafee explained that the letters were sent to Ahmad Terrirudin, the Home Ministry (KDN) and the Director-General of Prisons.
However, he said, there was no response or confirmation that the letters had been received by any of the parties concerned. - June 16, 2025
